Friends Miki & Sonja Photography sent me a wonderful bride last summer, Rebecca! She was so cool, easy to work with, and her wedding was so fun to work on. Rebecca chose loose waves, a half-up hairstyle, & a blend of natural and smokey for the eye makeup. her lashes were insanely long. I was just sent these few pictures, and they are very romantic! When I met Ashley, I knew I was lucky: this girl is incredibly sweet, charming, and GORGEOUS! A natural redhead you are wondering? - Yes, and she's never colored her hair.
Ashley was referred to me by her coordinator and close friend of mine, Gianna Provenzano of GP Events.
We got to talking and turns out here photographer is the uber-talented + friend of mine, too, Kerry Cocoran at David Michael Photography AND we have several mutual friends from the La Canada/ Flintridge area. Wow, too good to be true!


Ok, back to this natural beauty! So as you can see, she wanted a soft, natural makeup, rosy cheeks and lots of lashes to make her green eyes stand out.

What can I say. Sometimes a couple strikes you as being so perfect for each other, you can't imagine them with anyone else. Teresa and Burak come from very different countries yet their love kept them together for almost 10 years before their wedding day. It's obvious these two will be living a very happy life together for many more years.

I am good friends with Nate and Jen of B&G Photography, so when they refer me a client, I know she'll be a lovely person, because they are, too. Teresa and I didn't have time to meet for a trial so we corresponded via email, and she sent me her inspiration pictures. Come the wedding day, we were both confident and excited to make her vision a reality.

Since she works with children, makeup is part of her daily routine. I decided to give her a natural makeup look for the wedding day. I moisturized, brightened, and evened her skin tone, kept the palette in soft nudes and pinks. Gorgeous!

This woman was blessed with a lot of hair! I don't know how at 7am I did this, but it proves miracles can happen ;)

The bride's makeup was done soft and natural to compliment her fair skin tone: natural makeup light mineral powder, soft pink blush, eyes done with "antique" pinks and little copper to reflect her auburn hair.
