True Love @ Wayferers Chapel

What can I say. Sometimes a couple strikes you as being so perfect for each other, you can't imagine them with anyone else. Teresa and Burak come from very different countries yet their love kept them together for almost 10 years before their wedding day. It's obvious these two will be living a very happy life together for many more years.

I am good friends with Nate and Jen of B&G Photography, so when they refer me a client, I know she'll be a lovely person, because they are, too. Teresa and I didn't have time to meet for a trial so we corresponded via email, and she sent me her inspiration pictures. Come the wedding day, we were both confident and excited to make her vision a reality.

Since she works with children, makeup is part of her daily routine. I decided to give her a natural makeup look for the wedding day. I moisturized, brightened, and evened her skin tone, kept the palette in soft nudes and pinks. Gorgeous!

This woman was blessed with a lot of hair! I don't know how at 7am I did this, but it proves miracles can happen ;)

This chapel leaves me speechless! And what a stunning day!

The groom doesn't have to worry about lipstick, as you can see. Teresa is wearing a MAC pro long wear lipcolour

Inspiration for the bridal up-do was a picture of latina beauty, Eva Longoria

May the happy couple live happily ever after!

Urban Gem launches! Natural, Funky, Urban Makeup

To play up the model's blue eyes, I used a bright coral eye shadow by MAC

I've been working with some LA based jewelry lines lately, and Urban Gem is one I think is the best for everyday. We did this shoot in many LA Downtown locations, a few which were not so safe but they made for great moods!
Meaghan Rose, the founder of Urban Gem, searches out for the best pieces and material she think hip, urban women will love. No matter your style, you are sure to find something that fits your unique fashion identity. I think she did a great job!

Thanks to Callaway Gable for sending me these pictures! Brian & Allie are so fun to work with, whether it's a wedding, boudoir or fashion shoot. I highly recommend them.

This model got her golden glow with MAC's Matte Bronzer
She's all color! Jane Iredale Light Bronzer & a MAC blue eyeshadow give her a summery, ethnic look

You can find Urban Gem on Facebook here!
